CLIENT OBJECTIVES
The client needed a specialised cleanroom testing facility for electric vehicle batteries, requiring precise environmental control and efficient maintenance access. The primary challenge was to design a facility that would maintain scientific cleanliness standards while allowing for routine servicing without disrupting the controlled environment. The space needed to accommodate a crane system within a white box configuration, whilst ensuring all services remained accessible for maintenance without entering the cleanroom itself.
OUR SOLUTION
We developed an integrated design approach that placed all services around the exterior of the cleanroom with dedicated service walk zones on the roof. Working closely with cleanroom and electrical contractors, we implemented:
