CLIENT: Victoria Warehouse

LOCATION: Trafford, Manchester

SERVICES: Mechanical & Electrical Design

CLIENT OBJECTIVES

The client envisioned a cutting-edge event space that would put Manchester on the global map for conferences and exhibitions. They wanted a design that seamlessly blended sustainability with functionality, capable of hosting large-scale events while minimising environmental impact. The brief called for innovative solutions to maximise space, improve accessibility, and create a unique atmosphere that would set Victoria Warehouse apart from other venues.

OUR SOLUTION

Our team at PSA is collaborating closely with MAKE Developments and CODA Architecture to develop a comprehensive Building Services design to RIBA Stage 3. We focused on creating systems that would support the ambitious sustainability goals, including the implementation of low-carbon technologies and energy-efficient solutions. Our design incorporated smart building management systems to optimise energy use, innovative ventilation strategies for the expansive internal spaces, and integrated renewable energy sources to reduce the venue’s carbon footprint.

THE OUTCOME

While the project is still in progress, the designs are set to transform Victoria Warehouse into a beacon of sustainable event hosting. Our Building Services design will play a crucial role in achieving the Net Zero Carbon status, setting a new standard for eco-friendly venues in the UK.
