CLIENT OBJECTIVES

The client sought to establish a modern exhibition and event space for the Fashion and Robotics Faculty of the university. The priority was to create a highly fashionable and aesthetically pleasing environment that would captivate visitors upon arrival. Additionally, the space needed to be modular, accommodating audiences of varying sizes while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability to meet the university’s Net Zero goals.

 

OUR SOLUTION

PSA was engaged to work on the second phase of the building project, which included a full Mechanical and Electrical design up to RIBA Stage 2. Our team designed a heat pump system to achieve the client’s sustainability objectives, complemented by a sophisticated lighting setup and a cutting-edge cooling system. Furthermore, we meticulously planned the below-ground services within the congested courtyard area.

 

THE OUTCOME

As the project progresses, the client has expressed satisfaction with the design and solutions proposed by the PSA team, which effectively address their goals. Our collaborative approach and commitment to excellence have ensured a seamless execution thus far, paving the way for a successful completion of this project.
