Working within the constraints of a listed building, we collaborated with interior designers to transform Kendal Library’s space whilst keeping it operational for the public. The project encompassed everything from a complete electrical rewire, to upgraded heating and ventilation, requiring careful coordination to minimise disruption. Our team navigated the unique challenges of working in a heritage building, delivering a full M&E package alongside custom leadwork and internal fit-out. The result was a modernised library space that respects its historical character whilst providing improved facilities for the community.
