CLIENT OBJECTIVES
Our client, a large corporate school, needed to replace its outdated admin and classroom block with a new 1700m2 facility that could provide purpose-built, energy-efficient teaching spaces. This included classrooms, IT rooms, a kitchen and dining area, and administrative offices. The design had to meet the school’s specific requirements while enhancing the overall learning environment.
OUR SOLUTION
PSA worked closely with the school, design team, and end-users to develop a bespoke services solution. Key features included:
- Extensive natural ventilation system utilising low-level inlets, openable windows, and rooftop terminals to optimise air flow
- LED lighting with dimmable controls to enable flexible teaching scenarios
- Fully integrated site-wide infrastructure to connect the new facility with existing buildings
By understanding the client’s needs and collaborating across disciplines, PSA delivered a tailored design that balanced functionality, sustainability, and user experience.
THE OUTCOME
The new facility is a modern, fit-for-purpose learning environment that has transformed the school’s campus. The natural ventilation and energy-efficient lighting have created a comfortable, adaptable space for students and staff. Feedback from the school has been extremely positive, praising the design’s responsiveness to their specific requirements.
