CLIENT OBJECTIVES
Blackpool Football Club was looking to develop an underutilised space within its stadium to accommodate new NHS offices. The main objectives were to create a welcoming, flexible workspace for NHS staff that could also serve as a public drop-in area. Careful consideration was needed to address the varying needs of the different user groups, all while ensuring the design aligned with the NHS’s sustainability targets.
OUR SOLUTION
Our team was employed to complete a full mechanical and electrical design to meet the diverse requirements of the office-based staff, drop-in hot desking areas, public spaces, and consultation rooms.
Our design included:
- Incorporated energy-efficient HVAC systems
- LED lighting
- Intelligent building controls to minimise the environmental impact
We optimised the layout and zoning to enhance flexibility and enable easy reconfiguration as needs evolve. Specified high-quality, durable materials that would stand the test of time and reduce maintenance. Our team collaborated closely with the Football Club and NHS managers to ensure the design seamlessly integrated with their operational processes
