CLIENT OBJECTIVE
The college sought to expand and refurbish its current animal studies centre, transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility that would provide specialist classrooms, dedicated indoor and outdoor areas for different animal groups, private rooms, a reception, and study areas. The vision was to create a comprehensive, eco-friendly hub that would support the college’s forward-thinking curriculum and research initiatives.
OUR SOLUTION
Leveraging our expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering design, we collaborated closely with the college to bring their vision to life. The £3 million project included the creation of a diverse range of specialist animal rooms, such as a nocturnal observation room, amphibians and invertebrates area, reptile enclosure, rodent housing, tropical zone, tortoise habitat, aquarium, canine hydrotherapy suite, and grooming facilities. Our design included:
