CLIENT OBJECTIVES
The NCIC Community Estates team which manages various sites across Cumbria such as the Carlisle Cancer Centre, required support to maintain safe systems of work for confined spaces.
This required:
- Establishing robust Safe Systems of Work for confined spaces
- Partnering with a team experienced in healthcare environments
- Maintaining high safety standards through expert guidance
OUR SOLUTION
We developed a comprehensive approach to overseeing and advising on the hospital’s confined spaces management procedures. Our role encompasses evaluating the Trust’s Authorising Person and conducting detailed audits of Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work Systems.
We perform thorough documentation reviews and deliver clear guidance on required improvements. The team conducts annual compliance assessments and remains available for consultation, providing expert advice and responding swiftly to technical inquiries.
