Shap Health Centre’s leadership team sought to create a modern healthcare facility that would serve the local community with enhanced medical capabilities. OUR SOLUTION
PSA’s design approach prioritised sustainability and user comfort. The heating system utilises a ground source heat pump (GSHP) with borehole technology, distributing warmth efficiently through underfloor heating. Solar panels provide domestic hot water, reducing the facility’s reliance on grid electricity. Energy-efficient LED lighting, controlled by occupancy sensors, ensures optimal illumination with minimal power consumption.
