Bispham Library Refurbishment



The disused library in Bispham was to be refurbished in a partnership with Blackpool PCT and Blackpool Council to provide facilities for adults with learning disabilities. The project named the New Langdale at Bispham comprises a sensory studio with tactile toys and dimmable lighting, interactive whiteboards, large flexible spaces, specialised kitchen.

This £1.1 million project is unique in many ways providing much needed facilities to members of the local community.

This building also received a Blackpool Civic Trust Award for the Best Building Refurbishment.
